Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The installers did a perfect job. I have in floor heat. So, this coating works and looks great. In my opinion, the price was a bit high. But, they had to resurface the concrete floor first.

Frequently asked questions about our concrete staining services

What's the difference between acid stain and water-based stain?

Acid stain reacts with the concrete to create a permanent, natural, earth-tone finish with rich variation. Water-based stain doesn't rely on a chemical reaction, so it offers a wider range of colors, including bolder options. We'll help you choose the right one for your space.

Can concrete staining be used indoors and outdoors?

Yes. Our staining systems are UV-stable and suited for both interior floors and exterior surfaces like patios and walkways.

Will the coating hold up during Wisconsin winters?

Yes. Our staining and sealing systems are chosen to handle freeze-thaw cycles, moisture, and temperature swings common in Central Wisconsin.

Do I need to seal a stained concrete floor?

Yes. After staining, we seal the floor using one of three protective topcoats — water-based epoxy, polyaspartic, or our premium Hi-Wear Urethane — depending on the look and durability you need. This locks in color and makes the floor easier to clean and maintain.

Will staining hide cracks or imperfections in my concrete?

Stain is translucent, so it enhances your concrete's natural texture rather than hiding flaws. If your slab has cracks or damage, we repair and prep the surface first so your finished floor looks its best.

Is stained concrete durable enough for high-traffic areas?

Yes. Once sealed, stained concrete holds up well to daily foot traffic, vehicle traffic, and everyday wear — making it a great option for both residential and commercial spaces.

How is staining different from painting my concrete?

Unlike paint, stain penetrates the surface instead of sitting on top, so it won't chip, peel, or flake over time — and it shows off the natural variation of the concrete underneath.

What areas of my home or business can be stained?

We stain garages, basements, patios, walkways, and commercial floors — anywhere you want to upgrade the look of your existing concrete.
